Across the forests and steppes of Russia, heroes known as Bogatyr travel the land seeking adventure. Some will make glorious reputations, others will find death and sorrow, but all will encounter challenges and magic that will test them to the limits of even their heroic abilities. When they have become strong enough, though, Baba Yaga, the grandmother witch of Russia, will descend and try to destroy them all.
Baba Yaga is the board game of Russian folklore and heroism. In it the players will take on the role of a Bogatyr (something like a knight errant), adventuring in the wilds of a fantastical medieval Russia sculpted by the legends and folklore of the land. Baba Yaga has been extensively researched to be true to Russian folklore, but maintains an atmosphere of high adventure. It is epic in scale, but simple and fun to play. With up to six players, two main play modes (cooperative or competitive), a solo play option and variant multiplayer rules, there is endless replayability.
